This is a tragic event, but it's RIDICULOUS to blame the officer. Antwon shouldn't have been hanging around such bad influences. Even if he himself didn't fire a single shot, a responding officer who is going off of a 911 call and limited evidence (the bullet holes and shattered windows in the car) 13 minutes after the drive by shooting just happened. The officers shouldn't have to face death or bodily harm to capture people that don't want to be captured. Unfortunately, that's where lethal force is used. Are they just supposed to know exactly who took part right off the bat? Again this is tragic and he didn't deserve to die, but if you are going to blame someone, blame his bad friends.

No one should be shot fleeing. Period. It’s a shame. I recall in my youth I picked up a friend from years back and when he got in I saw him slip a gun under my passenger seat. I was too scared to even question him and just got him to where he was going and he left. I wouldn’t stop for him again, but I can see how this could be a similar situation. Peer pressure is real when you’re young and my guess is Rose didn’t have a clue what Hester was going to do. Sadly, being associated with douche bags like Hester can make you one in the same when things get real. If my passenger shot from the vehicle I would be shitting my pants and most likely running too.
