The first time i heard this song it gave me chills. Not because i know what he's talking about an i can relate. Not because i had a hard life growing up and i know the pain he went through. I grew up very privileged went to a private school and we didn't have to lock our doors at night. I basically lived in a bubble and thought the whole world was like the perfect little bubble i was in. Long story short i grew up became a heroin addict and started to see more things. And im not saying just because I go to the hood and cop drugs that i know all about the way of life these people are living. What I see is the tip of the iceberg. This song is almost like a window you can look in and see what some people are actually going through. Its sad, heartbreaking actually. Its a cycle as meek says in the song.
